South Paw Bed & Bath's low-stress atmosphere yields pets that are happy, eat
well, enjoy their visit, and are eager to return to our kennel. Our experienced
staff is trained to identify any warning signs of potential health problems. We
are well educated to care for and monitor geriatric and "special needs" pets.
STANDARD BOARDING ACCOMMODATIONS
Each dog has an individual spacious, climate controlled, indoor and outdoor
accommodation. The indoor sleeping quarters have been built with your dog's
comfort in mind. Solid partitions separate each run allowing for privacy,
preventing cross-contamination, and discouraging fence fighting. Each inside run
features a special made resting bench for bedding and sleeping quarters off of
the concrete floor. Barking noise is kept to a minimum by sound-absorbing panels
hung inside the kennel. The pet can go to the outside of their run through the
door. The outside run is a covered, concrete patio protecting the pet from
inclement weather conditions. These accommodations allow our guests to run in
and out during the day. The country setting is a peaceful environment which
provides our vacationers with lots to look at throughout the day. They enjoy the
interesting sights and sounds of the abundant wildlife that they can observe
from their patio. Each guest is exercised individually in the large, fenced play
yard. Each quest enjoys two play sessions per day that is included in the
boarding fee. Extra play sessions are available upon request at an additional
charge.
SUNROOM SUITES
These deluxe accommodations were
designed for that dog that feels more comfortable in a more private, quiet
setting away from the noise of the standard runs. These sunny rooms are ideal
for the pet that is needing a little more TLC or that stresses easily while
being away from home. For the meek, timid, shy, old or just for the pet that is
in need of a little more pampering during their stay.........a deluxe suite is
the answer. Our guests are sure to enjoy the new state of the art accommodations
made just for them. In the sunroom, your pet will enjoy these features at no
extra charge:

Our visitors comfort and well-being is very important
to us and we cater to their individual personalities. If you would like to bring
personal possessions from home, we often recommend a shirt or hand towel that
has your scent on it. Dogs have a tendency to chew so we cannot guarantee that
objects you leave with the pet will return in the same condition as left. We
discourage bringing large, cumbersome bedding to the kennel because if soiled,
the large bulky bedding is difficult for us to wash and disinfect. For those
pets that need bedding we provide clean, warm blankets and towels.
We provide the food during your pet's stay unless he or she is on a prescription
diet. If you wish to bring your pet's food, please bring food in a labeled
zip lock bag or a sealable container. If your pet needs medication while at
the kennel, you must provide the medication with instructions and method of
administering medications. There is no extra charge for
administering medications. We make every effort to keep guests on their
accustomed routines, so inform us of any special needs your pet may have such as
certain feeding or exercise times.
You may want to receive a spa treatment while you are away. Regardless of our
efforts to keep the kennels and yards clean, there may be times when your dog
may get dirty. For example, while spending time in our grassy play areas they
often jump, roll, dig and just have fun being a "dog". We are happy to provide
our grooming service while you are away. Please reserve, in advance, a time for
your pet's grooming session.
